The highest quality and most compassionate personalized early learning services in Kittitas County.
Bright Beginnings for Kittitas County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Central Washington. Our mission is to engage families with young children in building stronger foundations for their future. Our vision is, one day, all children in Kittitas County will be fully prepared for a successful kindergarten experience.
We accomplish our mission by providing the highest rated preschool and child care experience for the children and families in our community through several programs and partnerships with other organizations within Kittitas County.
We’ve identified five important values for ourselves as we strive to deliver the best experiences for the children and families in our programs. When we embrace and live up to these values, we know we’re giving our best selves to the program.
Joy – more than just happiness. We find joy in the work that we do, even when it’s been a hard day.
Authenticity – we can’t give our best work when we hide our true selves.
Growth – there are always new things to learn and new ways to provide better experiences for our children and families.
Accountability – we must follow through on what we say we will do and be able to hold each other accountable when we don’t.
Respect – we are all here for the same reason: to serve the youngest members of our community. When we recognize this, we can appreciate the different strengths that each of us bring to the organization.
